Enabling Organisation

Supporting coordination, learning and advocacy, the "Enabling Organisation" is key to the NYEB's unique model.

An Enabling Organisation is a learning and coordination partner that supports a network to amplify its collective work. The NYEB Enabling Organisation:

  • Coordinates the community of practice, supporting partners to build a consistent practice for local collaboration and share knowledge
  • Draws and synthesises lessons from local work to highlight common challenges and opportunities across Australia
  • Coordinates national NYEB advocacy
  • Produces thought leadership on key themes relating to youth employment and place-based governance

Melbourne-based non-profit social justice organisation, the Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL), is the Enabling Organisation of the NYEB.
