The NYEB Network
The National Youth Employment Body is a national network of organisations working collaboratively across sectors to address the systemic drivers of youth employment.
Our network tackles youth unemployment through a unique structure that supports communication between local communities and national decision-makers.
Our members work collaboratively across sectors in their local communities, bringing industry, community services, government, education, skills and training and young people together to identify the root causes of youth unemployment in their areas and build real, practical solutions to those barriers.
Often, young people fall through the cracks where systems are disjointed and young people don't know how to access the support they need. Our Community Investment Committees connect these sectors and activate them to work collaboratively to bridge these gaps.
Our Committees share their local approaches with our network across Australia through a Community of Practice, to inspire each other and amplify the impact of each community's work.
Our network advocates for national change where we see common, national barriers to young people being able to live thriving, meaningful lives. Our network represents diverse communities and geographies, giving us a unique insight into the opportunities for change that will benefit all young people.
