Since 2018, the National Youth Employment Body (NYEB) has been developing a model for addressing the root causes of youth unemployment in local communities and nationally. This event guide is designed to help Community Investment Committees (CICs) plan and run local events with the purpose of raising awareness of the issues in their communities and the solutions the CICs have developed.
This guide is informed by diverse knowledge across the Brotherhood of St. Laurence and NYEB, and others working to support community-led advocacy and inclusive participation, including: Mount Baw Baw Shire Community Advocacy Toolkit and the Commons Library.
