Frankston-Mornington Peninsula Youth Employment Body
The Frankston and Mornington Peninsula Community Youth Employment Body (FMPYEB) is a cross-sector collaborative body dedicated to improving meaningful employment outcomes for young people and businesses in the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula region.
Bringing together leaders from industry, skills and training, youth employment services, community organisations, and all levels of government, the FMPYEB works to bridge the gap between employers and young people, with a focus on strengthening school-to-work transitions.
The committee takes a data-driven, actionable approach to its work, championing stronger public transport links, elevated support networks, and mindset change among employers. Through working groups focused on employer engagement and parent and caregiver support, the FMPYEB develops practical tools and resources that improve access to employment for young people, ensuring they have the knowledge, confidence and connections needed to thrive.
