Community Investment Committee
The Hume Community Investment Committee has been bringing together community organisations, industry and young people to create new pathways for young people into jobs in Hume since 2016.
Located in Melbourne’s northern growth corridor 15 kilometres from Melbourne’s city centre, Hume City is one of Australia’s fastest growing and most culturally diverse communities.
Established in 2016, the Hume Community Investment Committee (CIC) is co-led by the Brotherhood of St. Laurence and the Hume City Council’s Economic Development team. The CIC serves as the youth-focused working group within the broader Hume Jobs and Skills Taskforce.
